24 Years In: A New Look and a Look Back

We have new things to share: a new logo and a new website with new projects.
After 24 years in the biz, we've updated our logo and website to better reflect what we do today. The process was a fun one — including a trip down memory lane via the Wayback Machine to revisit our original 2004 website. It was a fascinating look back at where we started and where we are today.

Over time, some things have changed and some things remain the same.
How the work has evolved
Our work has evolved as our expertise has grown. In those early days, we solved single problems: brightening a dark room, choosing the perfect shade of green paint for a kitchen. The projects were smaller and the questions were more contained.
Now the problems are more complex and layered — how to create flow, open up space, improve storage, make rooms truly livable and beautiful, all while respecting a budget. These are the questions we love to solve. Every project is different and every client is different, and that's what keeps the work interesting after 24 years.

These days we do renovations of all sizes and decorating, large and small. Along the way we found a soft spot for working on older and historic homes. There is something deeply satisfying about honoring the character of a home while bringing it into the present. It calls for a specialized level of technical expertise that we've built over the years — and we love that challenge.
What hasn't changed
The interesting part: while the scale and scope has grown over time, our approach remains the same.
We still create homes that reflect our clients' tastes, not ours. There is no AbbeyK look. Every home we work on looks like the people who live there — only better. We still have a love affair with color. And we still love helping people feel more comfortable at home and bringing a little more beauty — and happiness — into their lives. Our clients often tell us: "It's my taste, only better." And after 24 years, that's still the point.
